When can I visit the cemeteries?
The Masonic, Edwards and Cortenez Cemeteries shall be closed from the hours of 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., and it shall be unlawful for any pedestrian or vehicular traffic to be in or upon said property during such time period. However, if any one applies for permission to carry out an activity during such hours, written authorization shall be obtained from the City Manager or designee.
How large are the lots?
Each grave space shall be five feet by ten feet.
How many people can be buried in a lot?
Grave spaces shall be limited to one body per space. Any exceptions must be presented to the City Manager in writing. Such exceptions will be approved at the discretion of the City Manager.
Can I transfer my lot?
A fee of $5.00 shall be paid to the city for a transfer of a lot, and all transfers shall be duly recorded by the city.
